IT'S CONSIGNMENT SEASON!!!!!
Woohoo! I LOVE consignment season. It's where every six months I buy my kids' clothes, among other things like toys for Birthday/Christmas and items that are needed at whatever stage in the game we're in at the time. The first sale of the season was Boutique for a Week, which ended this past Saturday. I didn't find out that it had already started until the last minute, or I would have given everyone the heads up. I only went the last day (50% off day), but I left with 5 short-sleeved shirts, 11 long-sleeved shirts, 5 pairs of pants, 1 jacket/hoodie, 9 footie pajamas, 2 winter hats, a pair of Christmas socks, a Classic Pooh pillow and a Halloween costume all for $65. Everything was for Delano except for the pillow and one of the winter hats. And the most expensive thing I bought was the Halloween costume, which was $12.50. SCORE.
I didn't even LOOK at stuff for Lucy. One, because I'm not really sure what all she needs yet, and two, because the girl section is insanely overwhelming. I needed way more time to shop if I was going to shop for her that day. SO MANY CLOTHES.
Right after I went to the half-off sale, I drove over to the upcoming Sweet Weepeets sale location and dropped off all of the stuff I've been tagging to sell for the last few weeks. I'm crossing my fingers that most of it sells and I make loads of money! I really don't want to bring all of that stuff back home.
Here is the list of local consignment sales coming up. I'm a little disappointed at the timing of them this season, as FIVE of them are happening during the same week. They usually spread themselves out a little better. But oh well.....guess I'll just be making a giant party out of that Saturday with all of the 50% sales!
